Bio

Professional Background

In 1994 I began working in the forest industry for the Ministry of Forests as a GIS Technician. Then in 1998 I started DKSB Mapping Services, a successful sole proprietorship. In 2012 I made the decision to get out from behind the computer and spend my days pursuing my passion of helping people find their dream property. My background as a self-employed contractor has given me the drive, dedication and work ethic to go the extra mile to aid you in buying or selling real estate.

Professional Interest

I chose CENTURY 21 Lakeside Realty Ltd. because of the past pleasurable experiences my husband and I had in purchasing properties through them. I found that the ethics and integrity of the Realtors® at the office and CENTURY 21 were a great fit for my personal values. My personal and professional values are what I continuously rely on in all of my dealings and relationships.

Education

Personal Background

I was raised in rural British Columbia and have lived in several different communities around the province. I am from a large family that raised cattle and eventually buffalo on our ranch in northern B.C. We strategically chose the Shuswap area as it enabled us to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the lifestyle we have found here. Proximity to the Lower Mainland and central location to the southern part of the province enabled my husband to retain his role by regularly commuting to the coast. We have been able to fulfill our dream of having horses, living in a region that has a favourable climate, year-round recreational activities, and the lifestyle we were
looking for. Our three children and four grandchildren love it here as well, most of whom now live in the vicinity.

Community Interests

  • Chase Chamber of Commerce Board Member
  • Royal Canadian Legion Member

Personal Interests

I enjoy an active lifestyle and spend a great deal of time outdoors. Activities in the spring, summer and fall includes horseback riding, jogging, bike riding, boating, paddleboarding and gardening. In the winter we ski and snowshoe and are close enough to enjoy downhill skiing in spectacular Sunpeaks. Walking my 3 dogs is a year-round activity along the shores of the South Thompson River where we live. I have always had a keen interest in Real Estate and have owned many different homes. The many extensive renovations that we have completed have given me an insight into the endless possibilities of creating one’s own castle. Please allow me to help you fulfill your dream of selling or finding your castle!

Honesty, Integrity, Ethics and Hard Work are what I bring to my clients
My goal is to assist you in finding the best VALUE
Whether buying or selling real estate

Sincerely,
Donna Smith-Bradley
